Like a Boss

My Last Day – What’s Holding You Back?

Three years ago today was the last day I worked for someone else.

The last day I wasn’t my own boss.

Thanks University Sports Publications, Professional Sports Publications and Chayim Goldfeder for the opportunity you gave me as a kid out of college way back in 2003, and the close to 12 years experience I gained every day working there, to get me where I am today.

Three years ago tomorrow was the first day I worked for myself.

The first day I was my own boss.

But in reality, when you own a service-based company, you’re really working for everyone else. You’re working for your family, for your clients, for your friends who became clients and for your clients who became your friends.

I work every day now with that in mind, how can I do more for them, how can I do better.

So much so, that when I was trying to think of a name for my business, it was an easy choice to use an acronym of the names of my wife and kids. They are who I do this for. They are who I hustle for, every day.
